Kite Patents

Kite Patents is an interesting page where we can find a good number of kite patents, with their designs and drawings. The page includes a small index with key words for making the search easier.

Google has recently introduced a new Service: Google Patent Search through which one can look for the complete text of the patent corpus in the U.S.A. All the existing patents come from the (Unite States Patent and Trademark Office - USPTO).

The service includes the complete set of patents that the USPTO made available, from patents issued in 1790 until mid 2006: Over 7 million patents to explore. If you enter the word kites the searcher will issue approximately 645 results.

...why not talk about kites?

That's the translation of the heading of an article published in the magazine Revista Aeroespacio of August, 1967, in which its author, Don Antonio Biedma Recalde, makes a short review of the scientific and research activities in which kites were used, in Argentina and other countries. Every November 1st., they fly their kites over the town Cementery.
