Two kite workshops were carried out at Vélez Sársfield Club Highschool, preparing for the kiteflying to take place on May 30 in front of the Garraham Hospital for Organ Donation and the Worldwide Day without Tobacco, organized by Dr. Rubén Sosa.
In the morning, 80 children participated, and in the afternoon, 84. Víctor Derka, my wife Betty, Rubén and me were the instructors. Eleonora Figini -Biology professor- and her father Osvaldo (83 years old) organized the workshop.
The school personnel helped us, and it's worth mentioning that the workshop resulted a real example for its organization and children's behavior, everybody showed good mood and enthusiasm to do things well. Very pleasing. Many thanks to Vélez Highschool for the opportunity they gave us to demonstrate that with a kite you can educate, teach, and have fun. Many thanks to professors and children, too.
